Everyone does [Brunch] in NYC, Duh!

I don’t think that I’ve ever heard or used the word “Brunch” as much as I have since I’ve moved to New York City. Its something that is so common and in my case, occurs just about every weekend. No matter what you may have planned for the weekend its best to block out some time to partake in the city wide tradition. If the menu doesn’t consist of some type of “unlimited” drink choice other than tap and lemonade then its not really worth it. Yes, the food is important but the drinks are JUST as important. Its either all or nothing when it comes to a #TNNapproved Brunch spot…

The other weekend a few college friends of mine (more like family) from Morehouse and Spelman College met up for brunch to top off Darnell’s birthday weekend and catch up on life. The place of choice was none other than AGAVE NYC┬álocated in the West Village (7th Ave South between Charles & West 10th St.) The ambiance was relaxed, the food was superb and the drinks had just the right amount of “punch”. After we finished all the food we ordered, sipped on the Mimosas and Margaritas we somehow ended up in a private room tucked away in a corner where music was being played, more drinks were being poured and everyone was having the time of their life; it was nothing short of a day party and made our Agave Brunch experience even better. If you’re ever in the village, AGAVE needs to be on your list of places to try. Its #TNNapproved without a doubt!
