Black Music Month Live: Ryan Leslie

While all the girls say, ‘I’m addicted to you…’

If you’re not familiar with that line, you must be from outer space or something. It’s only one of the [defining] lyrics from one of the dopest musical minds of our time and I recently got the chance to experience his genius up close and personal.

Last week, Ryan Leslie took over the Apple Store in the Meatpacking District for his set in Apple’s Black Music Month Live celebration. Miguel’s performance the week before brought in a nice crowd, but R. Les, took things to a new level. Three to be exact. The store was packed from the first floor to the third with excited fans waiting for a good show and he didn’t let us down. Check it out.

He performed a couple of new tracks from his third studio album Les is More, including The Glory & Joan of Arc, and actually premiered a new track titled Fly, which you can find below. The song features Rick Ross and will have you singing along in no time. [press play]
