Ever since my Fashion Week internship last year, I’ve come to love presentations. I think they’re so much more intimate than your typical show. You can get up close and personal with the pieces, examine whatever specific details you’d like, and really stop to appreciate a collection and all of it’s beauty. Calvin Klein held a special presentation earlier this month for their Fall 2012 collections, showcasing men’s and women’s sportswear, tailored clothing, jeanswear, underwear, footwear, accessories, and more.
Playing off of the light and darkness of the city, the color palette centered around a gradient of black and bone. Focusing on architecture for the women and tailoring for the men, Kevin Carrigan (pictured below) and the CK team keep it clean, elegant, and interesting for the upcoming fall season with just the right amount of edge. Using metal-inspired hues for the ladies and special leather coatings to add a three-dimensional feel for the guys, Calvin Klein Jeans also presented its new Liquid Metal offering. Last but not least, the presentation featured Calvin Klein’s new line of accessories and their new ck one color cosmetics. Check it out!
