Kenneth Kyrell’s Top [Fall 2013 Kenzo] Picks

Fall 2013 Menswear. As I have been catching up on all the collections, one look at a time. There has been many looks that I appreciate and others that I could do without; but that’s the beauty of Fashion. I swear it feels like I went to sleep one night, woke up the next morning and it was Fashion Week season already. Wasn’t I just in the tents of MBFW just yesterday? Maybe not! Kenzo hit home with me. When I reviewed the full collection there was not a look that I did not approve of. Although it was extremely difficult, these are my top six looks from the Fall 2013 Kenzo Collection

Humberto Leon and Carol Lim call many of the silhouettes within the collection to be very super-heroic. The large top proportions, rounded shoulders, A-line coats and tapered trousers could fight off any villain with mass destruction. This collection was all about color, color, pattern and more color. The Nylon-esque fabrication gives off a sheen of special powers any super hero wouldn’t mind obtaining. I’ve been taking some notes and planning accordingly because there are a few pieces that I must welcome home. Keep your eyes open and see which Kenzo pieces get their very own hanger in my closet for the 2013 Fall season; it’ll certainly be money well spent! Be sure to check back in the near future for more Fashion Week related posts from both Jovel Roystan and myself. Tis the season!
