[L.A. Dreams] Pt. I

The sun is shining, the weather is nice, and the city is beautiful. With life moving at such a fast pace right now, I decided to slow down and join one of my best friends out in Los Angeles for the weekend as he gets ready to move in the coming weeks. In between apartment hunting and other “pre-move” activities, I’m looking forward to enjoying the city for all that it has to offer.

It feels good to get out of Houston and see a new environment. The last time I was here, I was a middle school geek that only cared about going to the zoo. I think for this visit, I’ll check out a little bit more than the lions and giraffes. After two smooth flights and hours of traveling, I finally touched down in the city of angels last night around 8 o’clock and within seconds of stepping off the plane, I could already feel a different energy. The vibe and culture out here is different, to say the least, but it’s kind of awesome. Even when nothing’s going on, you feel a sense of [luxury and excitement]. I think I can get used to this…

[There are few things on this planet that are more beautiful than a view of the sunset from 30,000 feet in the sky. Make sure you see one before you meet your maker.]
