[kuh-lab-uh-rey-shuhn] - noun. The act of working with someone to produce or create something. When you combine two brands and collaborate on one product, the result is ordinarily a positive one. The market/clientele of the commodity has just doubled which means a more diverse group of consumers, stronger influence and bigger numbers. Its simple math.“Vans has been collaborating with top notch artists, designers, musicians and beyond since day one. “The Collabaratory” gives you an inside perspective of the many talented individuals that are interwoven into the Vans collaboration process and what’s make them so special.”
In the most recent episodes of “The Collaboratory”, Vans takes an inside look at the Brand of MadeMe in addition to the making of the MadeMe x Vans Collaboration with Founder of MadeMe Clothing, Erin Magee. Inspired by Madonna, New York and being an individual, Erin is someone who I would love to have a one on one conversation with. This collaboration was a smart move for both Vans and MadeMe. The two brands compliment each other in which the final product was a happy medium that conveyed the true essence of what BOTH of the brands are all about. Its like Rock n’ Roll and Leather. It just makes sense.
