[MEAR ONE & the Mirror]: A Dark Fantasy Brought to Light

If you follow me on Twitter, then I’m sure you know how completely geeked I am for Snow White & the Hunstman, which finally hit theaters yesterday! In celebration of the film, Universal Pictures set up shop (pop-up shop, that is) in sunny Los Angeles last month to bring fans an awesome artistic experience. Located on Melrose Ave., this pop-up shop/gallery features wardrobe pieces designed by the Oscar-winning Colleen Atwood and special art by L.A. graffiti giant MEAR ONE.

Complex posted this video last week and I really wanted to share it because of its in-depth look at creativity and beauty being born. As members of a young, creative generation, I think that it’s so important for each of us to experiment with different canvases (like mirrors) and media, find those unique styles that work for us best, and bring our imaginations to life, regardless of what your creative passion is. Check out the video above to get a little artistic inspiration and see a piece of MEAR ONE’s imagination come to reality, one step at a time.

You have until tomorrow to check out this awesome pop-up gallery, so if you’re in the Los Angeles area, be sure to head over to Melrose for a trip to the Dark Forest. Get more information on Complex.com now and be sure to check out Snow White & the Huntsman!
