Three time World Heavyweight Champion, Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. was born in Louisville Kentucky on January 17, 1942. After joining the Nation of Islam in 1964, Cassius changed his name to Muhammad Ali. Known for his exuberant boxing style that went against many of the sports orthodox teachings and his straightforward perspectives on social issues during the 1960′s and early 70′s, Ali to this day will always be known as “The Greatest”. At the tender age of 22 after a victory over Sonny Liston, Muhammad Ali became the youngest boxer to ever take the title from a reigning Heavyweight Champion. Although Muhammad Ali’s days in the boxing ring have come to an end he still packs a mighty punch and is fighting back by being involved in numerous peace and humanitarian acts. Muhammad Ali has achieved quite a lot. As he has stated once before; “Its not bragging if you can back it up.“
“It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.” - Muhammad Ali.
