This upcoming summer is going to be one to remember. I am extremely proud to say that I will be interning with Macy’s in their Buying and Planning department. I will be in the Concrete Jungle for an entire 3 months doing what I am truly passionate about all while researching trends, colors, silhouettes, data and brands in order to take Macy’s to the next level and satisfy the customers needs. Macy’s is known as one of the leading department stores within the retail industry and what they have to offer is limitless. With the direction that Fashion is moving in today, Macy’s understands the importance of staying relevant and current in terms of trends. Designer Matthew Williamson has recently launched a capsule collection exclusively at Macy’s which has taken the brand of Macy’s to even greater heights.
“Matthew Williamson for Impulse, Only at Macy’s” is a limited edition collection that contains the ever so popular maxi dress, rompers, outerwear, shorts, blouses and flirty dresses for any fashion forward girl of today. The collection is full of prints, color, with a touch of suede and leather. With price points from $50 to $150 (Suede and Leather pieces a little higher) this collection is affordable and worth every penny.
