As the sunshine season sadly comes to a close in the coming weeks, I can happily say that it’s been my best summer in the city so far. Between a couple of amazing dinner parties, countless squad outings, and a much-needed vacation with my fam—not to mention a lot of good old fashioned relaxation—I don’t have any regrets about the way I spent the past few months. Hands down, one of the best parts was teaming up with I.W. Harper Bourbon to present a specially-curated life/style series for you guys. Whether it’s stylish cropped trousers or flashy souvenir jackets, I’m sure we’ve all seen a ton of 50’s inspiration walking down the streets this summer—I know I have. From fashion week last month to my Instagram timeline, the Cuban collar shirt (a.k.a. the revere collar or bowling shirt) has been pretty much unavoidable, and I’m definitely not mad about it.
